Changing the Idle Speed
The idle speed range of the DD15 engine is 600 to 900 rpm if the parameters in the Common Powertrain Controller (CPC) are set to the default range.
Change the idle speed as follows:
- Turn the cruise control switch to the ON position.
- To increase the idle speed, push the RSM/ACC Switch until the idle reaches the desired rpm.
- To decrease the idle speed, push the SET/CST Switch until the idle reaches the desired rpm.
