DD15 Operator Guide – Stop Engine Override Option

Stop Engine Override Option

The Stop Engine Override Option is used for a momentary override. The Motor Control Module (MCM) will record the number of times the override is activated after a fault occurs.

Momentary Override
– A Stop Engine Override (SEO) Switch is used to override the shutdown sequence. This override resets the 60–second (30–second for oil pressure) shutdown timer, restoring power to the level when the Red Stop Lamp (RSL)/Stop Engine was illuminated. The switch must be recycled after five seconds to obtain a subsequent override.
